World Space Week  2026 Toolkit

Bring World Space Week to your school or youth program!
This toolkit was created to help educators and youth-serving organizations participate in World Space Week 2026, themed “Rocket Revolution.” It includes age-appropriate activities, videos, movies, and additional resources designed to spark curiosity about space science, STEM, engineering, and the future of exploration. 

• K–5 Activities

  • Hands-on activities and age-appropriate space exploration resources.

  • Deeper STEM, space science, engineering, and exploration activities.

  • Curated space-related media.

• Additional Activities

  • Simple activities that can be used across grade levels.

​Participate in World Space Week

• World Space Week provides a flexible opportunity for schools, after-school programs, youth organizations, and communities to celebrate space science and exploration. Activities can be implemented between October 4th and October 10th during World Space Week, giving organizations flexibility to choose dates that work best for their students and programming.

• Whether you host one hands-on activity, a classroom experience, or a larger space-themed celebration, your event can be part of the global World Space Week movement.
